Little Acorns Day Nursery – Apprentice Role
Location: Stoneygate, Little Acorns Day Nursery (part of Grandir UK)
Salary
- Training wage: £8.00–£8.40 per hour

About the Role
Join a supportive, child-focused team in Leicestershire, where your passion for early years education will shape young lives. As an Apprentice, you’ll:
- Work closely with children to care for, support, and inspire their curiosity daily.
- Help them thrive through play, learning, and growth.
- Gain hands-on experience while working towards your Early Years Qualification (EYFS).
Core Responsibilities
- Individual child support: Identify and meet children’s needs.
- Supervision & engagement:
- Monitor children at all times.
- Lead interactive activities (storytime, mealtimes, games).
- Assist with nappy changes and daily routines.
- Role model: Demonstrate positivity and professionalism.
- Relationships: Build trust with staff and parents.
- Safeguarding: Commit to strict safeguarding policies; enhanced DBS check required.
- Training: Develop skills in a supportive environment.

- Location: Stoneygate, close to transport links (bus/train), near Co-op.
- Facilities:
