Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and caring individual

This role offers an hourly rate of £13.00 and provides the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young children through attentive care, developmentally appropriate activities, and fostering a safe, supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will play a vital role in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere, all whilst obtaining a Level 3 qualification with our training provider, Eden.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with children aged 0-5 years
  • Support learning and development in accordance with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences
  • Maintain a nurturing atmosphere
  • Obtain a Level 3 qualification with Eden

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS certificate within the childcare sector
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and complete apprenticeship to obtain childcare qualification
  • Ability to work flexibly according to nursery needs
