Early Years Assistant
Nursery: Bright Horizons – Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool
Location
Harpenden (short walk to town centre, with onsite parking)
Hours & Salary
- 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Starting salary: £27,580.80 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Join a nursery rated 'Good' by Ofsted, nestled in a stunning converted Victorian house with:
- Seven spacious rooms over three floors (including a playful log cabin nursery room)

What You’ll Do
As an Early Years Assistant, you’ll support our team in nurturing babies and children up to the age of 5, encouraging growth through:

Requirements & Qualities
- Previous childcare experience (ideal but not essential – e.g., as a Nursery Bank Staff, Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, or Childminder)
- A passion for making learning engaging and fun for each child
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents
- Strong communication skills with children and adults
