Nursery Assistant – Kiddi Caru Day Nursery
Location: Hanham Part of: Grandir UK Salary: £22,568 to £26,437 per year (pro-rata for part-time/finite roles)
Join Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Hanham, part of Grandir UK, and become part of a supportive, child-focused team. We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to play a key role in delivering exceptional early years care.

About Our Nursery
Our bright, airy nursery features four distinct learning zones for children aged 3 months to 4.5 years:
- Discoverers (baby room)
- Explorers (1-year-olds)
- Creators (toddlers)
- Inventors (older toddlers & pre-schoolers)
Each room is designed with natural light and high-quality, natural resources to foster exploration, learning, and creativity. With a dedicated team (many holding Level 5 Early Years qualifications), we uphold the highest standards of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We also boast a lush outdoor environment with two large grassed areas, offering year-round free-flow access so children can thrive in all weathers.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Prepare and lead activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for children using high hygiene standards
- Fully understand and implement nursery policies, procedures, and company practices
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
- Attend team meetings, planning sessions, and required training programs

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check required (carried out by an approved third party)
- Passion for working with children from under-toe to two-year-old age-range
- Experience in a warm, child-centred nursery environment preferred, but passionate beginners welcome!
- Ready to learn and thrive under our child nutrition, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
