Early Years Assistant – Bright Horizons Fulbourn Day Nursery & Pre-School

About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of children through care, learning, and adventure? As an Early Years Assistant, you’ll:

  • Support in the care and development of babies and children up to age 5
  • Engage children through interactive play, creative activities, and early learning experiences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to help children reach key milestones
  • Contribute to a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired

Salary & Benefits

  • £29,432 per annum (set salary)

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have experience in early years, but we also welcome passionate beginners! Your qualities should include:

  • Previous experience (desired but not essential) in roles such as:
    • Nursery Bank Staff
    • Nursery Assistant
    • Teaching Assistant
    • Early Years Educator
    • Nanny or Childminder
  • A teaching or development-focused attitude – making learning fun, engaging and personalised for each child
  • An ability to build trust with colleagues and parents, fostering strong working relationships
  • Strong communication skills—able to connect with both children and adults effectively
