Early Years Assistant – Bright Horizons Fulbourn Day Nursery & Pre-School
About the Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you’ll:
- Support in the care and development of babies and children up to age 5
- Engage children through interactive play, creative activities, and early learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to help children reach key milestones
- Contribute to a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired
Salary & Benefits
- £29,432 per annum (set salary)

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have experience in early years, but we also welcome passionate beginners! Your qualities should include:
- Previous experience (desired but not essential) in roles such as:
- Nursery Bank Staff
- Nursery Assistant
- Teaching Assistant
- Early Years Educator
- Nanny or Childminder
- A teaching or development-focused attitude – making learning fun, engaging and personalised for each child
- An ability to build trust with colleagues and parents, fostering strong working relationships
- Strong communication skills—able to connect with both children and adults effectively

This role is subject to safeguarding principles. Before appointment, you’ll undergo:
- Validated safer recruitment practices
- Enhanced DBS check (mandatory for all roles in our sector)
