Early Years Bank Staff

Nursery – Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £13.55 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Location: Kingston upon Thames

We’re seeking a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a dedicated Bright Flex / Bank team, enjoying the best of both worlds—the flexibility of agency work combined with the security and benefits of employment.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Care for children from babies up to age 5 in a nurturing environment.
  • Lead activities like interactive play, storytelling, and creative sessions to spark curiosity.
  • Support colleagues in tracking each child’s development towards key milestones.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in childcare (previously Nursery Bank Staff, Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A passion for making learning fun and exciting for young children.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both children and adults.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adaptable.
