Early Years Educator – Chingford Forest Day Nursery (Part of Grandir UK)
About the Role
The Early Years Educator will play a key role in nurturing, supporting, and inspiring children in our Chingford Forest Day Nursery, fostering curiosity and growth while maintaining high standards of care.
- Primarily responsible for the quality of childcare support within the nursery and preschool environment
- Fosters engaging, developmental learning experiences in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ensures a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years
- Maintains strong parent partnerships through professional communication
Salary & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: £13.53–£14.62 (adjusted for experience/qualifications)

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Setting standards: Ensuring the high quality of our Early Years provision, aligned with EYFS requirements
- Supervising playroom staff: Supporting effective daily operations, including personnel allocation
- Keycarer matching: Implementing and managing the EYFS keycarer practices
- Safeguarding compliance: Maintaining professional safeguarding measures (enhanced DBS checks required)
- Reporting & feedback: Timely and constructive updates to parents/carers
- Promoting the nursery: Actively engaging with current and potential families
- Building team collaboration: Fostering supportive staff-parent relationships
- Policy adherence: Monitoring implementation of nursery-wide practices
