Early Years Educator - Baby Room
Location: Muddy Boots Nursery, Wilberfoss YO41 5ND Wage: £13.50 – £13.90 per hour (for those aged 21+) Hours: Full-time (4-day week)

Muddy Boots’ Wilberfoss nursery thrives on delivering exceptional early years education through outdoor learning. Our care is guided by five core values: Heart, Excellence, Growth, Teamwork and Responsibility.
We’re particularly seeking applications from experienced Level 3 Early Years Educators motivated to grow their careers within our nursery group.
Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years Educator in our Baby Room, your duties will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging learning activities with a focus on outdoor play and exploration
- Observing, assessing, and supporting children’s individual learning journeys
- Acting as a key person and nurturing strong partnerships with families
- Creating safe, stimulating, and inclusive indoor and outdoor environments
- Collaborating with a supportive, positive team
- Ensuring safeguarding and welfare of children in your care

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
About You
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or are currently pursuing one)
- Bring experience in an early years setting
- Align with our values and commitment to high-quality childcare
- Show a passion for outdoor learning and child-led play
- Are proactive, positive, and thrive in a team environment
While outdoor education experience is welcomed, an attitude of passion to learn and grow is equally valued.
