Your Role as an Early Years Educator
You’ll shape young minds with meaningful connections, fostering curiosity and confidence in Harborne’s 103-place nursery. Here’s what success looks like:
- Inspire learning through our play-based N Curriculum
- Smooth daily routines – meals, naps, and transitions
- Plan and implement child development-focused activities
- Record observations, assessments and personalised learning plans
- Build trusted, positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, clean and engaging classroom environment
- Adhere to all policies and safeguarding procedures
- Act as a positive role model – collaboration, motivation and sharing ideas

What We’re Looking For
In your previous early-years experience, you’ve shown:
- A Level 2 (or higher) Early Years qualification
- Paediatric First Aid (12-hour certified)
- Safeguarding knowledge/understanding
- A genuine passion for early education and child development
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- A can-do attitude – teamwork and positivity are essential
