Hours: 30-40 hours per week

About Cherubs Sutton (Ashfield)
Our Cherubs Sutton location is a modern 63-place nursery offering:

Role Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Collaborate as part of the Childcare Team to deliver outstanding care for children and families
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness – Ensure all safeguarding policies are always followed
- Set an example – Model best practice for children while mentoring colleagues
- Warm engagement with parents/carers – Offer welcoming interactions and clear handover communications
- Complete "Nursery In A Box" – Track children’s progress under Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines and provide detailed reports
- Shaping their environment – Present nursery rooms with organised resources and engaging displays
- Training commitment – Attend both in-house and external accreditations (some sessions may require attendance outside working hours)
- Challenging yet nurturing activities – Plan and execute varied ideas (both indoor and outdoor) based on children’s individual development needs
- Attend key events – Mandatory participation in parent evenings, team meetings, and seasonal fairs, including any out-of-hours commitments on weekends
