Early Years Educator (Term-Time Only) Join Our Outstanding and Award-Winning Team at Treehouse Nursery Schools, Wanstead!
Treehouse Nursery School in East London is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Early Years Educator (Term-Time Only). As a UNICEF rights-respecting nursery committed to fostering personal, emotional, and social growth, we’re seeking a professional who shares our vision to join our dedicated team.

We nurture children’s understanding of their rights, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and empowered within a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As part of our outstanding nursery, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and our sequenced curriculum, fostering children’s holistic development. Actively integrate rights-respecting principles into everyday learning, encouraging respect and empathy among children. Work alongside a dedicated group of educators to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Participate in training opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice.

Who We’re Looking For We are looking for a Level 3-qualified Educator with: Experience in implementing an Outstanding EYFS framework. A commitment to promoting the rights and voices of children. Creativity, empathy, and a passion for fostering curiosity and independence. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for nurturing young minds.
What We Offer Salary: £28,000 (pro rata for term-time). Contract: Term-time only (approx. 39 weeks per year), offering excellent work–life balance. A collaborative and inspiring work environment. Comprehensive CPD and a culture fully committed to evidence-based teaching and learning development. Opportunities for professional growth through a leadership mentoring programme. Holiday allowance: 29 days (pro rata, including birthday leave). We also pay 3 additional days when the nursery is closed during Christmas and New Year. Childcare discount: 20% off childcare fees.
