Job Description:
Super Camps, one of the leading childcare providers throughout the school holidays, are looking for hard working and enthusiastic individuals to join our vibrant team and undertake the role of The Early Years Manager.
With the support of your Camp Manager you will be responsible for the entire Early Years function on camp. The camp will have a minimum of 2 Early Years staff who will lead the groups through the daily activities which will then allow the Early Years Manager to focus on the EYFS framework to ensure this is being implemented to a high standard.
Health, Safety and Safeguarding are the highest priority for Super Camps so you will be required to adhere to the policies and procedures set out by the company to ensure the children have a safe and enjoyable time on camp.
Duties Include:
- Key contact for OFSTED
- Providing feedback to parents at the end of each day
- Completing daily observations on the Early Years children
- Ensuring the EYFS framework is implemented
- Manage the Early Years staff and assist with their development and training
- Take the lead on sign in/out of EY children
- Provide support to the Early Years staff by getting involved in the running of activities

Requirements:
- Level 3 childcare qualification or BA in Primary Education (or equivalent)
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid
- Assist the Camp Manager at the pre-camp set up day the weekend before camp
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (preferably register to the Update Service)
Age of children: 2-5 years old
Hours: 8am-6pm

Selection & Appointment Process:
Candidates will be required to complete the Super Camps pre-camp training programme. All appointments are subject to satisfactory training attendance, references and enhanced DBS Status.
