Position: Early Years Out of Schools Quality Improvement Officer Level: PO2 Hours: Full time Tenure: Fixed term/secondment until September 2027 Salary: £44,937pa rising in annual increments to £47,925pa (inclusive of London Weighting)

The Early Years Quality Improvement Team delivers high-quality support, coaching, and training to:
- Childminders
- Early Years Group Settings
- Out-of-School Providers
registered with Ofsted.
Key Focus Areas:
- Ensuring providers stay updated on national and local EYFS initiatives
- Meeting statutory requirements at the highest standard
- Developing and implementing centralised and targeted training programmes
- Locality-based support model for early years providers
About the Role
The candidate will:
- Provide targeted support, advice, and training for providers in transition (pre-registration, newly registered, or facing Ofsted inspection).
- Offer intensive support to providers with Ofsted grades below the “Expected Standard”.
- Assist in compliance with safeguarding and welfare obligations when regulatory issues arise.
Target Groups:
Childminders, group settings, and Out-of-School providers on the Early Years Register with Ofsted.
