Early Years Practitioner – Haddenham Day Nursery
Location: Haddenham, Buckinghamshire Salary: £28,496–£29,619.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications/skills, experience) Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri), Permanent Employer: Bright Horizons

What You’ll Do
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Plan, create, and deliver tailored, engaging activities to foster children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development
- Build a nurturing, safe, and play-based environment that stimulates curiosity and learning
- Work collaboratively with passas, colleagues, and parents/champions to support children’s holistic growth
- Reflect on progress, adjust practices to meet individual needs, and encourage a love of lifelong learning
- Foster close partnerships with families to support children’s development.

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will:
Essential Requirements:
- Full and relevant qualification as an Early Years Practitioner:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, or higher (e.g., EYPS, Early Years Teacher).
- Strong commitment to creating fun, inclusive, and enriching environments for children aged 0–5.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Familiarity with safeguarding policies and child protection procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust, rapport with children, colleagues, and families.
Nice To Haves:
- Experience in a beverage-local nursery setting.
- Exposure to observation and assessment tools like Tapestry or Development Matters.
