Nursery – Early Years Practitioner (Barrow)

Salary: £29,203.20 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience) Location: Barrow General Hospital, Barrow

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll:

  • Plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging, tailored activities to encouraged children’s developmental growth
  • Foster a safe, nurturing environment where children can express themselves, engage minds, and develop a lifelong love of learning

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering tailored learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Supporting children to reach key developmental milestones
  • Ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
  • Collaborating with parents, carers, and collegial teams

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Deep knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to build trust and partnerships with colleagues, parents, and carers
