Early Years Practitioner – Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery
Salary: £28,080 - £29,203.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday | Permanent Location: Barford, Warwickshire

Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their team. nestled in a beautifully renovated Victorian school building, the nursery offers a light, spacious, and child-friendly setting. Children enjoy their own fully enclosed gardens and playground, where they can safely explore, play, and learn.
Our nursery enhances children’s development through engaging activities using innovative programmes like Boogie Mites and myHappymind. We foster a supportive and friendly environment where every child’s curiosity and creativity is nurtured.
The Responsibilities
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Plan, design, and implement fun, tailored learning activities to support each child’s development and key milestones
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages confidence, expression, and a lifelong love of learning
- Work closely with colleagues and families to ensure a warm, trusting relationship for every child
- Promote well-being, creativity, and engagement through unique Healthy Hearts and Minds programmes

About You (Requirements)
We’re looking for a passionate and qualified individual with:
- A valid Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong experience and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Deep passion for creating engaging, fun, and inclusive learning environments
- Safeguarding and child protection expertise
- Great communication skills to build trust with colleagues, parents, and caregivers
- Commitment to a nurturing, play-based approach to learning
