Early Years Practitioner

Early Years Practitioner – Royal Hospital School

Location: Holbrook, Ipswich, Suffolk IP9 2RX

Salary: £27,500 – £29,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent (required as soon as possible)

About the Role

We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing young children during this critical stage of their development. You will:

  • Support children’s growth in social and communication skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional ** interpersonal skills** to engage effectively with both children and colleagues
  • A passion for leading by example, motivating, and inspiring others

Requirements & Conditions

  • Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
  • Job Grade 3A
  • Safeguarding commitment: All employees must support the safeguarding of children.
  • Employment is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check
  • Post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
