An exciting opportunity to join the friendly team at Middleton Nursery School as an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice. You will support children's learning, care and development whilst completing a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children's learning through planned play activities and experiences.
- Assisting with the preparation of engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Supporting children's personal, social, emotional and physical development.
- Encouraging children's communication, language and independence.
- Supervising children during play, mealtimes and outdoor activities.
- Helping children develop confidence, curiosity and positive relationships.
- Assisting with personal care routines where appropriate.
- Observing children's progress and contributing to learning records.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Supporting inclusive practice to ensure every child can achieve their potential.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
- Carrying out general nursery duties as required.
