Contract & Employment Details
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: 33.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
- Salary:
- Actual: £21,566 – £23,004 per annum
- FTE: £27,693 – £29,539 per annum
- Job Scale: NJC 10 – 14
- Closing Date: Friday 10th July 2026 at 9am (or earlier if sufficient applications received)
- Start Date: 1st September 2026
- Interviews: Tuesday 14th July 2026
About the Role
Great Heath Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their engaging primary academy.
We are looking for a positive and committed individual with:
- Excellent knowledge of early years legislation
- Deep understanding of child development and children’s needs
- Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- GCSE 4–9 (A–C) in English and Maths
- A minimum Level 3 qualification within early years (e.g., Early Years Educator, NVQ in Childcare & Education)
- A genuine passion for making a difference in young learners’ lives
