£31,158 - £36,649 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

About the Role

Our Shortlands setting is conveniently located near Shortlands train station and close to local bus routes. The team navigates weekly wellbeing initiatives and team-building activities to ensure a happy, collaborative work environment.
This is a part-time role ( 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday), focusing on support during lunch-time shifts.
Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Plan, create, deliver, and reflect on engaging, personalised learning activities to support each child’s development, encouraging them to reach key milestones.
- Provide a safe, inspiring environment where children can explore, learn, and express themselves freely.
- Foster a lifelong love of learning while maintaining high standards of play, care, and education.
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a cohesive, nurturing experience for children.

Requirements
- In possession of a full and relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification.
- A passion for creating fun, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments.
- A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and safeguarding policies.
- Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
