Nursery – Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery & Pre-School

Location – Colchester Contract – Full Time | 40 hrs | Mon–Fri Salary – From £29,000 per annum

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Colchester Nursery. Our beautifully purpose-built setting accommodates up to 108 children, featuring spacious rooms, outdoor garden areas, and excellent public transport links.


The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child’s unique development needs.
  • Encourage learning, creativity, and milestones through a fun, inclusive approach.
  • Foster a safe environment where children can explore, express themselves, and develop a lifelong love for learning.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • A passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and welfare practices.
  • Ability to build trustful working relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
