Nursery: Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool Location{: .header} Harpenden Salary{: .header} Starting from £13.50/hr (Level 2), £14.04/hr (Level 3), dependent on qualifications and experience

We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ nursery in Harpenden—a stunning converted Victorian house with 7 spacious rooms across three floors, including a special ‘log cabin nursery room’, as well as a large outdoor play area for the children.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, your work will focus on:
- Planning, creating, and delivering engaging activities tailored to each child’s individual needs
- Encouraging growth and development toward key early years milestones
- Fostering creativity and learning through a joyful and nurturing environment
- Safeguarding children’s well-being in a secure and inclusive setting
What We’re Looking For
✔ Relevant qualification: Level 3+ in Early Years (or above) is essential ✔ Passion for creating safe, inclusive, and creative learning environments ✔ Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) ✔ Excellent safeguarding skills with an understanding of child protection ✔ Great interpersonal skills – able to build trust with colleagues, parents, and children
