Nursery – Early Years Practitioner (Bright Horizons Witney Day Nursery & Preschool)

Salary £14.24 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours 32.5 per week

Location Witney, Oxfordshire

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering their development towards key milestones.
  • Design a safe, inclusive environment where children can freely express themselves, engage their minds, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a curriculum that supports children’s key stage transitions.
  • Work with families, colleagues, and external organisations to ensure child progress and well-being.
  • Maintain safeguarding best practices in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
  • A passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Deep knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues, parents, and children, fostering strong partnerships.
