Location: Leiston
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Casual Join our casual team with flexible working that fits around your life – supporting the needs of our service when shifts are available.
Closing date: Midnight on the 17th of July 2026 (We would also welcome applications from qualified practitioners)

A Day in the Life of an Early Years Practitioner

As an Early Years Practitioner (unqualified), you'll be right at the heart of the action:

There may also be an expectation to work casually across up to three nurseries in the local area, giving you the chance to experience different settings and make greater impact across the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Works as part of a team to create a safe and stimulating environment for our children
- Support in planning exciting activities for preschoolers
- Prepare children for school
- Build strong relationships with parents/carers and families
- Meet each child's unique needs with love and attention
- Bring a positive attitude and make every day magical
What We Need from You:
As an Early Years Practitioner (Unqualified), we're looking for someone with:
- A passion to learn and develop, whether you're new to the sector or experienced
- Experience working with children in an Early Years or childcare environment
- An understanding of children’s development needs (0 to 5 years)
- A positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
