Nursery Practitioner Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Bristol
Salary & Benefits
- £12.71 - £13.85/hour (depending on experience/qualifications, with regular pay reviews)

About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be at the heart of children’s development (aged babies to preschoolers). Your responsibilities include:
Key Duties
- Deliver a child-centred curriculum (e.g. Health & Self, Innovate & Investigate)
- Safeguard and support children’s well-being through EYFS compliance
- Keycarer coordination (allocate children appropriately)
- Professional feedback for parents/carers
- Staff supervision & mentoring
- Maintain standards in care and provision
- Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and community

Requirements

Training/qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (spark premise ACEs preferred)
- Safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene certified

Experience
- Nursery/childcare background required
- First-hand knowledge of child psychology, play pedagogy

- Patience, empathy, creativity
- Commitment to inclusive/nurturing care

Entry clearance
- Enhanced DBS check mandatory
