What you'll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can flourish. You'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Observe, assess and celebrate children's progress and development.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Support children's wellbeing, confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring environment.
- Help ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and care.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young children reach their full potential.
