Early Years Service Assistant

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an efficient and highly organised individual to join the Early Years Service Assistant team within the Early Years Learning and Childcare Service. The successful candidate will provide administration support to the Education Intelligence and Effectiveness section of Children’s Services, based with the Early Years team. This includes day-to-day support for several key managers, such as diary management, organisation of events and a variety of administrative tasks. Collaboration with other Early Years Service Assistants will be an essential part of this role.

About You

We are seeking an individual with specific skills and attributes. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a personable manner and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Practiced IT skills and previous office experience are required, enabling the candidate to “hit the ground running”. The selection process will include a formal interview.
