Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor - Manchester
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
This role offers a blend of home-based working and travel within the Manchester area to visit learners in their workplace, requiring candidates to be based in the locality. Additional training sessions will be attended in Wolverhampton.

We’re looking for a dedicated [Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor] to join our team, playing a pivotal role in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work toward their qualifications. This includes delivering dynamic training, one-to-one coaching, coaching, and assessment, ensuring learners succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
- Support apprentices via one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
- Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ portfolios
- Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
- Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve goals
- Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement

Requirements
We’re looking for:
- A background in Early Years with at least two years’ experience in the sector over the past three years
- Experience delivering training to 16+ learners and adults
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
- A Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
- A TAQA (The Awarding Organisation’s Assessment) or equivalent assessor qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging mindset
- As this is a peripatetic role, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential, as training spans multiple employer locations.
