About The Role
As an Early Years Teacher Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced practitioners while studying towards your Level 5 qualification. You'll play an active role in creating a warm, engaging, and enriching environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
With guidance and training, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0-5 through play-based and structured activities
- Assisting in planning and delivering engaging experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Building positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional and social development
- Ensuring a safe, secure, and inclusive environment by following safeguarding procedures
- Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress with support from senior staff
- Working in partnership with parents and carers to support each child's development
- Actively participating in your apprenticeship training, coursework, and professional development

You'll Need:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- A willingness to learn and complete a Level 6 Early Years Teacher Apprenticeship
- Basic knowledge of the EYFS (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to personal development
- A current Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo a check
