Job Title: 2x Engineering & Construction Contract (ECC) Supervisor – Water Delivery
Location: Sussex and Hampshire - You will be based in one of these locations however there will be regular travel required to our sites
Salary: Circa £55,000
Hours: 37 hours per week
About The Role

We are looking to recruit for 2x ECC Supervisors based in Hampshire and Sussex who will be our eyes and ears on-site, ensuring our infrastructure projects meet the highest quality assurance standards under the NEC Contract.
As a key player in our construction delivery team, you’ll lead quality assurance across major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Monitor our Strategic Delivery Partners & Delivery Partners to assure our Project Managers the work meets the Works Information requirements. Champion a “right first time” approach, witnessing critical construction hold points and commissioning tests. Provide expert guidance and mentoring to junior team members and drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Supporting the management of health, safety, and security on-site
- Managing construction inspections and defect resolution
- Supervisor related contract administration within CEMAR
- Solving pre-construction and on-site challenges
- Supporting commissioning activities
- Assisting delivery teams and reporting
Additional Requirements Specific To The Role
- Regular travel to construction sites across the region
- There may be a requirement for limited out-of-hours working in order to meet the business need

Essential
What you’ll bring to the role
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Contract Management with specific understanding of Supervisor duties
- Demonstrable knowledge of construction site health and safety legislation and best practice, with proven ability to maintain high standards, drive behavioural safety, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Background in Civil or Process Engineering, qualified to HNC level or above
- Proven experience in construction management and contractor supervision
- Familiarity with key regulatory and industry standards, including CDM, CESWI, WIMES, and Regulation 31
- Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear and concise reporting
Desirable
- NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience within the water or utilities sector.
- NEC4 ECC Supervisor accreditation will be highly advantageous
