About The Opportunity
The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) is a strategic partnership, operating within the DNWP framework and delivering critical decommissioning work at Sellafield, including the UK’s most challenging Legacy Ponds facilities. As a key partner within DNWP, TDA contributes to Sellafield Ltd.’s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful, measurable Social Value outcomes.
An opportunity has arisen for 2x experienced CE&I design engineers to support the LPEP (Legacy Pond Enhancement Projects) team within TDA. This role would be working closely with the client and subcontractors. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team working on projects at Sellafield within the FGMSP facility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager and multidiscipline project teams and client on fast-paced projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all drawings and documents are produced accurately in line with the project requirements and in accordance with the SL specs
- Be able to manage own workload and liaise with stakeholders
- Report progress to the PEM
- Plan and prioritise work effectively
- Undertake Site surveys
Here's What You'll Need:
- Hold an HNC/HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
- Proficient in the use of the following: Autocad, Amtech
- Emergency lighting design would be beneficial
- Has to be able to attend site as and when required
- Plant access would be an advantage
- Must hold appropriate Security Clearance (SC and British Sole National) and be a Sellafield Pass holder
