We are currently recruiting an E, C&I Engineer (Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation) to provide engineering and maintenance support at a Power Generation Facility within a 24/7 operational environment in London.

Unify is keen to hear from qualified Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation Engineers with experience working within the Power or Energy sector or similar heavy process industries, supporting the maintenance and reliability of critical infrastructure and treatment facilities.

You will be responsible for maintaining asset reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency across electrical, control, and instrumentation systems on water and wastewater sites, while supporting continuous improvement and operational performance.

  • Salary is up to £65,000 Per Annum.

Role & Responsibilities

Your duties as an E, C&I Engineer will include reporting to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across this and other company assets.
  • Supporting the operation and maintenance of LV/HV electrical distribution systems, standby generation, UPS systems, motors, drives, and site instrumentation.
  • Managing and maintaining control systems including DCS/SCADA, alarms, logic modifications, and routine system health checks.
  • Supporting reliability and performance improvements across pumping stations, treatment works, and associated infrastructure.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Managing specialist contractors and supporting upgrade, refurbishment, and improvement projects across site assets.
  • Providing technical support and coaching to operational and maintenance teams.

Requirements

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation discipline.
  • Experience working within the Power/Energy industry or on similar process plant environments.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with SCADA/DCS systems, instrumentation, motors, drives, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Experience supporting compliance, asset integrity, maintenance programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of critical infrastructure environments operating on a 24/7 basis would be advantageous.
