Equity Capital Market Analyst - Internship

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated student intern who is fluent in Japanese to support our Equity Capital Markets team in London. This is a great opportunity to learn how capital markets transactions are originated and executed, while working closely with colleagues across London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
Working Hours
As a student, we appreciate you are committed to your studies, that’s why we are offering a flexible working pattern. Ideally, you would be able to commit to specific University holidays that we would agree ahead of time, as well as a couple of morning or afternoons each week.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the ECM team with market analysis, investor research, and transaction materials.
- Helping prepare presentations, internal documents, and deal-related materials.
- Assisting with convertible bond processes and internal tracking.
- Coordinating with teams across different regions.
- Learning how equity capital markets and cross-border transactions work in practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal Japanese and English language skills, including the ability to review written communications and materials accurately.
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students with a strong academic background.
- Interest in investment banking, capital markets, and financial markets.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel and PowerPoint.
- First-class work ethic.
- Motivated, curious, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
