The Role
We are currently hiring for an ECM Senior Analyst in our London office to lead portfolio-level catastrophe exposure analysis, supporting underwriting decisions, risk appetite management, and senior governance reporting, while acting as a key technical expert within the Exposure Management team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Portfolio oversight: Produce and maintain portfolio-level exposure views and catastrophe loss roll-ups, with ownership across Marine and Energy classes
- Model analysis & challenge: Review, interpret, and challenge catastrophe model outputs, clearly articulating key risk drivers, movements, and uncertainties
- Exposure governance: Ensure data quality, robust assumptions, and documentation, supporting strong governance and auditability of exposure management processes
- Stakeholder & committee support: Prepare analysis, insights, and papers for senior forums including ECMG and RCC, influencing underwriting and portfolio decisions
- Technical leadership & improvement: Act as a senior reference point, providing peer review and enhancing tools, processes, and analytics to improve insight and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
- Catastrophe modelling expertise: Proven experience in catastrophe modelling and exposure management within the Lloyd’s or London Market
- Portfolio-level judgement: Ability to operate at portfolio and governance level, applying critical thinking and constructive challenge
- Technical communication skills: Strong capability to translate complex modelling outputs into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Market & regulatory knowledge: Good understanding of underwriting, reinsurance structures, and Lloyd’s exposure reporting frameworks
- Organisation & stakeholder management: Highly organised, analytical, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, and risk
