Consultant Ecologist
Salary: GBP29,000 - GBP35,000
Location: Cardiff
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a forward-thinking ecological consultancy based in Cardiff. This growing organisation is recognised for delivering high-quality environmental services across a varied project portfolio and is committed to supporting employee development within a collaborative team environment.
As a Consultant Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering projects from initial site surveys through to final reporting, working with a diverse range of clients across both the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities
- Conducting habitat assessments and protected species surveys
- Writing and contributing to a range of ecological reports
- Assisting with Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA)
- Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) delivery and strategy
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders

About You
- Degree-qualified in Ecology or a related field
- Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Based in or able to commute to Cardiff
- Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
