Consultant Ecologist

Salary: GBP29,000 - GBP35,000

Location: Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a forward-thinking ecological consultancy based in Cardiff. This growing organisation is recognised for delivering high-quality environmental services across a varied project portfolio and is committed to supporting employee development within a collaborative team environment.

As a Consultant Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering projects from initial site surveys through to final reporting, working with a diverse range of clients across both the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting habitat assessments and protected species surveys
  • Writing and contributing to a range of ecological reports
  • Assisting with Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA)
  • Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) delivery and strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Ecology or a related field
  • Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
  • Based in or able to commute to Cardiff
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
