The Role: Consultant Ecologist
Responsibilities
As a Consultant Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering ecological surveys, assessments, and reporting across diverse projects. Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking habitat and protected species surveys
- Producing reports such as PEAs, EcIAs, and BNG assessments
- Supporting project delivery from initial survey through to completion
- Advising clients on ecological constraints and mitigation strategies

To be considered for this Consultant Ecologist position, you should have:
- A degree in Ecology or a related discipline
- Experience in ecological consultancy and UK survey methodologies
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Ability to live in or commute to the Thetford office
