About the Role
The Assistant Ecologist will join a supportive team working on a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, with excellent opportunities for training and long-term career progression. This position is based in Milton Keynes and offers exposure to a wide range of ecological work within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with habitat and protected species surveys, ecological appraisals, report writing, data collection and supporting senior ecologists on projects from inception through to completion.
- Gain experience across a diverse range of sectors while developing technical and professional skills.

Requirements
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
- Previous ecological survey or consultancy experience is desirable
- Good knowledge of UK habitats and protected species
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Must live in or within a reasonable commute of the Milton Keynes office
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Motivated, organised and eager to develop a career in ecology
