🌿 We're Hiring: Ecology & Forestry Advisor 🌳 📍 Location: Chester, Hybrid with regular travel across our UK locations 💰 Salary: up to £32,000pa 👤 Report To: Head of Strategic Land Management ⏱️Working Pattern - 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am until 5:30pm

Forge Holiday Group is looking for an experienced Ecology & Forestry Advisor to help shape the future of our natural landscapes across the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your ecological expertise with strategic influence, supporting woodland management, biodiversity enhancement, conservation projects, planning applications, and environmental compliance across our portfolio.
What you'll be doing: 🌳 Leading woodland and landscape management initiatives 🦋 Driving biodiversity enhancement and habitat restoration projects 📋 Providing expert advice on environmental legislation and protected species 🏗️ Supporting planning and development projects from an ecological perspective 🤝 Building relationships with key stakeholders including Natural England, Forestry England, and Wildlife Trusts 📊 Managing ecological monitoring programmes and helping deliver measurable environmental improvements 🌍 Supporting our sustainability ambitions and Biodiversity Net Gain commitments

What we're looking for: ✔️ Experience in ecology, forestry, conservation, or environmental consultancy ✔️ Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and biodiversity requirements ✔️ A passion for protecting and enhancing the natural environment ✔️ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ✔️ Degree qualified in Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
