Ecommerce Assistant

Purpose of the Role

The E-commerce Assistant will support the day-to-day management of our online store, ensuring product listings, content, and customer journeys meet luxury standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for luxury retail, and a desire to grow within digital commerce.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Product Management

  • Upload, update, and maintain product listings (descriptions, pricing, SKUs, imagery, stock levels)
  • Ensure product content aligns with luxury brand tone, storytelling, and visual standards
  • Manage product launches, collections, and seasonal updates
  • QA website content for accuracy, consistency, and functionality

Visual Merchandising & Content

  • Support homepage updates, banners, and landing pages
  • Assist with digital merchandising to optimize product placement and storytelling
  • Coordinate with creative teams on imagery, copy, and campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency across all e-commerce touchpoints

Order & Customer Support

  • Assist with order management, tracking, cancellations, and returns
  • Provide high-touch customer service as needed via email/chat in line with luxury standards
  • Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams as needed

Performance & Reporting

  • Assist in tracking key e-commerce KPIs (conversion, AOV, traffic, bestsellers)
  • Compile weekly/monthly performance reports
  • Support A/B testing and optimization initiatives

Operations & Admin

  • Support inventory coordination between online and offline channels
  • Assist with promotions, gift-with-purchase, and special campaigns
  • Maintain internal documentation and processes

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

  • 1–3 years experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or luxury/fashion/beauty environments
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar
  • Experience with Matrixify ideal
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication and copy-editing skills
  • Customer-first mindset with a luxury service approach
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce metrics and performance
