Role Description
The Ecommerce Business Owner at Barraid will oversee end-to-end business operations, including product sourcing, inventory management, pricing, and vendor relationships. This full-time, on-site role in New Delhi involves managing the online store, optimizing product listings, monitoring website performance, and ensuring a seamless customer journey from browsing to checkout. Qualifications
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including online merchandising, inventory management, order fulfillment, and basic knowledge of online marketplaces or cart platforms.
- Experience with digital and social media marketing, including campaign planning, performance tracking, SEO/SEM basics, and customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Business management skills such as budgeting, revenue forecasting, vendor negotiation, and ability to interpret sales and analytics reports for decision-making.
- Customer-centric mindset with experience in customer service, handling escalations, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage day-to-day operations independently, and collaborate effectively with local suppliers, logistics partners, and team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods is an advantage.
- Interest or background in barware, lifestyle products, or hospitality is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-growing business environment.
