Farrow & Ball - Ecommerce Executive, Wimborne, Dorset
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Ecommerce team in Wimborne. We are offering this position on a full-time basis. This role will be working on a Hybrid basis - 2 days per week in office.
Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.
The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 80 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.
The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.
The Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Executive supports the continuous growth of our global online business by ensuring our digital channels deliver a beautifully crafted, seamless customer experience. This role is responsible for maintaining our ecommerce platform, optimising on-site content, and supporting commercial performance across paint, wallpaper, and accessories.
Working closely with teams across Creative, Colour Consultancy, CX, Retail, Trade, and Marketing, the Ecommerce Executive helps ensure Farrow & Ball’s digital presence reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, design, and thoughtful detail.
What We Expect From You
Key Responsibilities:
Website & Product Content
- Maintain and update product listings for paint, wallpaper, and accessories—ensuring accuracy in shades, finishes, technical attributes, and imagery.
- Support new colour launches, seasonal edits, and global campaigns by preparing product and content assets.
- Conduct regular site checks to ensure the website is accurate, polished, and consistent with the Farrow & Ball brand.
- Manage on-site search terms, product recommendations, and category optimisation.

Trading Support
- Monitor daily and weekly ecommerce performance, including sales, conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and sample-pot behaviour.
- Support setup and execution of global and regional promotions, ensuring smooth customer experience.
- Highlight trading risks and opportunities such as out-of-stock items, underperforming colours/finishes, or high-demand products.
Digital Marketing Support
Email & CRM
- Assist in building and scheduling marketing emails, including newsletters, product launches, colour inspiration, and campaigns.
- Support segmentation, subject line testing, and performance tracking.
- Ensure email content aligns with brand tone and supports customer colour journeys.
Paid Media Coordination
- Liaise with external agencies or internal teams to provide product links, imagery, copy, and landing pages for paid media campaigns.
- Ensure all paid campaigns drive to accurate and optimised onsite experiences.
- Support performance reviews by pulling data and highlighting any key trends.
SEO & Content Optimisation
- Optimise product copy, category pages, and landing pages for organic search.
- Conduct keyword research to support content updates and new product launches.
- Monitor rankings and organic traffic trends, escalating any technical issues.
Social & Content Support
- Work with the Social & Creative teams to supply product details, links, and campaign asset requirements.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, imagery, and launch timings across all digital channels.
- Support content uploading across Inspiration pages, How-To guides, and colour advice.
Customer Experience & Journey Optimisation
- Continuously review the digital customer journey—from sample pots and wallpaper calculators to checkout—highlighting areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the CX team to resolve ecommerce-related tickets and identify recurring issues.
- Support user testing for new features, layouts, tools, and customer flows.
Analytics & Reporting
- Use Google Analytics, Looker, and ecommerce dashboards to pull insights on user behaviour and commercial performance.
- Produce weekly trading and campaign performance reports.
- Feed insights back into optimisation plans across ecommerce and digital marketing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Colour Consultancy, Creative, CX, Retail, CRM, and Supply Chain teams to support digital campaigns and launches.
- Coordinate with internal developers or platform partners to flag bugs or support small enhancements.
- Align digital execution with brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Key Attributes:
Essential
- Experience in an ecommerce and/or digital marketing role.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CMS tools.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and digital content optimisation.
- Analytical mindset with experience using GA or Looker.
Desirable
- Experience with premium, design-led, lifestyle, or home décor brands.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Experience working with paid media agencies or CRM teams.
- Interest in colour, interiors, or design.
