eCommerce Executive

Elixir Garden Supplies is looking for an eCommerce Executive to join its growing digital team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in eCommerce, online trading, customer journey improvement, and digital content.

Elixir operates in a fast-moving online environment, selling garden care and related products through its own website and major marketplaces. As the business continues to grow, a key priority is to make the website easier to shop, more commercially effective, and better aligned to customer needs.

The eCommerce Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, merchandising, and optimisation of the Elixir Garden Supplies website. This role focuses on ensuring products, promotions, and customer content are accurately presented and easy to navigate, helping to drive sales and improve the overall online customer experience. Working closely with multiple teams, the successful candidate will use website data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement, support trading activities, create engaging content, and assist with light design tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their digital and eCommerce skills within a growing business.

Main Responsibilities

Website Trading & Merchandising

  • Support the day-to-day management of the Elixir website, ensuring key pages are accurate, up to date, and commercially effective.
  • Merchandise products across the homepage, category pages, product collections, and landing pages in line with trading priorities.
  • Help ensure bestsellers, seasonal ranges, new products, promotions, and clearance lines are easy for customers to find.
  • Support product launches by helping set up product content, imagery, category placement, cross-sells, and related products.
  • Review product ordering, filters, navigation, and internal links to improve product discovery.
  • Work with commercial and product colleagues to ensure the website reflects current stock availability, pricing, margin priorities, and seasonal demand.
  • Regularly check website content, links, pricing, imagery, and promotional messages for accuracy.

Customer Journey & Conversion Rate Optimisation

  • Review key customer journeys and identify where the website could be clearer, simpler, or more persuasive.
  • Help improve product and category pages so customers have the information they need to buy confidently.
  • Support improvements to product imagery, copy, delivery messaging, trust signals, FAQs, calls to action, and promotional messaging.
  • Use customer service queries, website behaviour, and sales performance to highlight where customers may need clearer information.
  • Review competitor websites to identify useful ideas and best practice across navigation, merchandising, product pages, and promotions.
  • Support simple website tests and improvements designed to increase conversion rate, average order value, and customer confidence.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve basket-building, cross-selling, upselling, and repeat purchase.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
