Role Overview
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Work Pattern: 2 days per week in the office (full-time position, minimum 4 days per week)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 p.a. + bonus
About the Role
The Ecommerce Executive plays a key supporting role in delivering the ecommerce strategy across our two exceptional brands, Inghams and Santa's Lapland. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to further their Ecommerce career. Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager and wider marketing team, you'll help identify opportunities, implement improvements, and support the delivery of initiatives that drive traffic, conversion and revenue.

You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your areas, bring forward ideas, and develop your ecommerce expertise in a fast-paced environment where testing, learning and continuous improvement are at the heart of how we work.
Key Responsibilities
- Online promotions and merchandising: Support with the delivery of the online trading plan, working closely with product, content and brand teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches and merchandising activity that drives commercial performance.
- Conversion rate optimisation and user experience: Assist with analysing customer journeys, identifying conversion opportunities and implementing CRO initiatives. You'll help develop and execute A/B tests, monitor results and make data-driven recommendations to improve customer experience and commercial outcomes.
- Website optimisation: Take a proactive approach to reviewing website performance, spotting issues and identifying opportunities for improvement across content, navigation, merchandising and user journeys.
- CMS training and support: Maintain CMS training materials and provide day-to-day support across the business, helping teams follow SEO, UX and content best practices.
- SEO: Support the SEO Manager in executing optimisation initiatives and ensuring website content follows technical and on-page SEO best practice.
- Analysis and reporting: Monitor website performance, customer behaviour and commercial trends to identify opportunities, support decision making and maximise revenue.

Am I the Right Person?
We are looking for your application to demonstrate:
- Experience working with CMS platforms, ideally Umbraco.
- Experience using analytics and performance tools such as GA4, Excel, Glassbox and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- An understanding of the principles of website merchandising, SEO, UX and CRO.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge, coupled with a strong eye for detail and user experience.
- A genuine interest in ecommerce and a desire to build a career in online trading, merchandising, CRO and digital optimisation.
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities and is motivated by delivering commercial results.
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, collaborative and eager to learn, with a test-and-learn mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- The ability to actively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and commercial performance of our websites.
