Ecommerce Executive - Fashion
Leeds, West Yorkshire (hybrid working - 2 days in the office)
£28k-£34k + Excellent Benefits + Bonus
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Executive to join our online retail client, to assist in continuing their digital transformation. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience selling online, but who is looking for an opportunity to learn and gain extra skills, whilst being driven and self-motivated.
As the Ecommerce Executive you will primarily be responsible for online merchandising and keeping web platforms up-to-date and working correctly. You will also be a key member of the team when it comes to monitoring and improving key ecommerce metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the commercial teams to ensure all product ranges are available to our customer, with the right product descriptions, images, and body copy to promote the product and drive add-to-basket
- Timely planning and execution of the activity plan, including onsite campaigns, promotions, product launches, marketing campaigns, and seasonal activity
- Assist with trading the website by proposing and implementing reactive activity when required
- Assist with the testing of new website features or improvements for a seamless online user journey
- Work with suppliers to coordinate rebrands as well as product and category changes
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend improvements to the website content
- Maintain product, category, and tagging updates required to support the website’s SEO strategy
- Responsible for sales growth using analytics to optimize the site and drive web traffic
- Ensure online activity is in-line with overall brand and marketing strategy
- Troubleshoot website issues, liaising with internal stakeholders & agency partners
- Continually transform your own work processes to improve efficiency & quality of work
- Managing product & images uploads
- Updating website content
- Help identify opportunities to improve website performance & conversion to improve sales performance
- Support A/B testing of on-site performance strategies
- Weekly & monthly reporting for trade analysis across e-Commerce KPI’s
- Boost, pin, and bury products depending on newness and promotional activity

Skills / Experience:

- Ecommerce experience ideally in a consumer environment
- Experience of online merchandising, including the impact it has on trading
- Experience of managing ecommerce platforms and CMS
- Analytical thinker and technical
- Ability to interpret site data and metrics
- An understanding of and interest in ecommerce tools including Google Analytics
