Interim Ecommerce Senior Lead

Job Title: Interim Ecommerce Senior Lead

Salary: £60,000-£80,000 DOE

Location: Hampshire | Hybrid, 2 days in office | Fixed-Term (6–9 Months)


We are working with an ambitious, award-winning consumer health business that has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and commercial success. Due to continued growth and an exciting period of ecommerce development, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Ecommerce Senior Lead to provide strategic leadership across its digital sales channels. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate commercial impact within a purpose-driven organisation that invests in its people, embraces innovation and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Interim Ecommerce Senior Lead will take ownership of the organisation's ecommerce strategy, driving commercial performance across direct-to-consumer channels and online marketplaces while providing strong leadership to an established ecommerce team. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining strategic planning with operational delivery to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.

The Interim Ecommerce Senior Lead will:

  • Lead the commercial performance of ecommerce channels, including direct-to-consumer platforms and major online marketplaces.
  • Develop and deliver strategies that increase revenue, profitability, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Own ecommerce forecasting, budgets and P&L management to support sustainable growth.
  • Analyse trading performance, identifying opportunities and implementing data-led improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver commercial objectives.

The role requires:

  • Significant senior ecommerce leadership experience within a consumer brand, retail or FMCG environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering profitable ecommerce growth across multiple online channels.
  • Strong experience managing direct-to-consumer websites alongside Amazon Marketplace performance.
  • Excellent commercial judgement with experience managing budgets, forecasting and trading performance.
  • The ability to inspire, coach and develop teams while influencing stakeholders at senior leadership level.
