This is an exciting time to join Chemist4U. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Marketing team and looking for talented Ecommerce Managers to play a key role in driving online performance and shaping our future success.

This role is responsible for P&L ownership at site level, driving online revenue, margin and conversion performance through effective trading, merchandising, pricing, promotions and on‑site optimisation. The Ecommerce Manager works closely with the Acquisition, Retention and Brand teams, who provide specialist support, while retaining accountability for site‑level results.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for commercially focused Ecommerce Trading Managers to drive online performance, optimise the customer journey, and deliver profitable growth. Working cross-functionally with Brand, Product, Merchandising and Finance teams, you will use data and customer insights to lead trading activity, maximise revenue opportunities, and enhance the on-site experience. As Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Own P&L performance per site, with accountability for online revenue, gross margin and contribution.
  • Lead the trading calendar, planning promotions and ensuring alignment with commercial targets.
  • Monitor performance daily, weekly and monthly, identifying risks and opportunities and taking corrective action.
  • Work closely with Brand and Product teams to ensure positioning, messaging and content are aligned.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate promotional activity, ensuring offers support revenue targets without eroding long‑term value.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to assess promotional ROI and margin impact.
  • Use behavioural insight and analytics tools to continuously improve the customer journey and reduce friction.
  • Translate data into clear actions, prioritising initiatives that drive measurable commercial impact.
  • Support the development and execution of on‑site merchandising and product curation, helping ensure the right products and collections are visible at the right time.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising team to optimise product placement, category structure and navigation.
  • Use performance insight to recommend improvements to product visibility, bundling, cross sell, upsell and on‑site journeys.
  • Support the implementation of pricing and promotional strategies, working closely with the Head of Ecommerce.
  • Ensure promotional mechanics are clearly communicated on‑site and aligned with wider marketing activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
