About Universal Container Services

Universal Container Services Ltd is one of the UK's leading suppliers of shipping containers, container conversions and container accessories. As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our digital team to maximise online sales, strengthen our brand and deliver an exceptional customer experience across every platform.

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially focused Ecommerce & Marketing Manager to take ownership of our online sales channels and marketing strategy while helping build and lead our in-house digital department.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for driving revenue across our ecommerce platforms while overseeing the company's marketing activities.

You'll manage and optimise our online sales channels, develop marketing campaigns that generate enquiries and sales, and ensure our brand is represented consistently across every customer touchpoint.

Working closely with the Sales Director and senior management team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our ecommerce and marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Management

  • Take ownership of all ecommerce platforms, including WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon and Facebook Marketplace.
  • Develop strategies to increase online sales, enquiries and profitability.
  • Optimise product listings, pricing, merchandising and customer journeys.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
