The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join SEPHORA UK as an E-commerce Optimisation Specialist, playing a key role in our innovative Marketing & E-commerce Team. This dynamic role is pivotal in delivering our Site Merchandising, Search and Personalisation strategy to drive performance, enhance customer experience, and unlock the full potential of our omni-channel presence.
As an integral part of the team, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners and cutting-edge tools like Dynamic Yield, Fredhopper, and Algolia to consistently support with day-to-day site operations governed by the trading calendar, as well as play a supporting role in web and app innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Lead the Site Merchandising and Search strategy year-round, with a dedicated focus in peak periods.
- Train and guide supporting team members to deliver strong commercial merchandising in line with business priorities.
- Support the trading calendar’s key promotion, brand and product launches through merchandising and messaging, applying personalisation where relevant.
- Utilise merchandising tools to deliver optimisation across product listings, search results, and cross-sell areas.
- Regularly review dashboards and support with innovation in reporting, to understand impact on key business objectives. Track performance KPIs and identify areas of opportunity.
- Act as a key liaison with Fredhopper and other partners, maintaining strong relationships to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Support delivery of A/B testing and personalisation initiatives, alongside the Senior Optimisation and Personalisation Manager and Technical Optimisation Specialist.

What You’ll Bring…
You’re a motivated, technically minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll bring a passion for E-commerce, a deep understanding of site merchandising, and the ability to drive meaningful results. You will also bring…
- Proven E-commerce experience, with expertise in site merchandising, A/B testing, and personalisation. Direct experience with Dynamic Yield and/or Fredhopper is preferred.
- Technical proficiency, including the ability to adapt quickly to new tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in E-commerce analytics tools and the ability to extract actionable insights.
- Commercial and results-driven mindset with a focus on profitability and performance.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
