eCommerce Product Trading Manager
We are looking for an eCommerce Product Trading Manager to join our International eCommerce team! Based in NEXT Head Office, Enderby, Leicester with a competitive salary range and exciting benefits!
Responsibilities
The Role
As the eCommerce Product Trading Manager, you will be responsible for profitably growing sales across your divisions while improving the customer product experience internationally. You will hold accountability for:
- Sizing optimisation
- Return data analysis
- Product exclusions at the country level
Additionally, you will:
- Build strong relationships to identify and communicate potential opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with product and eCommerce teams.
Key Areas of Focus
Strategy, Trading & Insights Data-Driven Strategy
- Analyse large datasets (including Google Analytics and under/over index reporting) to identify:
- Market trends
- Category opportunities
- Onsite optimisations that drive customer experience and ROI
- Own the divisional product trading growth strategy for Menswear, Footwear, etc., by driving actionable plans for regional teams.
- Act as the primary senior contact for product, branded, and third-party trading teams, delivering:
- Performance updates
- Operational insights
- Reports to senior management
Sising & Data Mapping
- Benchmark gender and category sizing against competitors to address specific international market requirements.
- Collaborate with tech and site operations to manage:
- Sizing data
- Conversion guides
- Self-serve tool mapping rules
- Track impact on:
- Onsite metrics
- Return rates

Brand & Product Launches (End-to-End Launch Management)
- Oversee onboarding and flawless onsite execution of:
- New product launches
- Brand launches
- Celebrity endorsements
- Track and monitor:
- Planned volumes vs. live inventory
- Partner with UK production and branded teams to:
- Monitor line availability by country
- Resolve item count discrepancies
- Manage regional exclusions
Onsite Experience & Localisation (Content & Tone of Voice - TOV Optimisation)
- Work with translation and search teams to enhance:
- Localised content coverage
- Regional Tone of Voice (TOV) optimisation
- Execute PDP requirements for LLM enrichment
- Perform product attribute audits to:
- Fix incorrectly attributed lines
- Conduct page tests targeting:
- Conversion rates
- Average Order Value (AOV)
- Expand international review rollouts
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Passion for Product in the eCommerce space.
- Proven experience in the eCommerce industry, ideally within a relevant role/environment.
- Ability to:
- Build relationships
- Work cross-functionally
- Apply web metrics and data to deliver actionable trading insights.
- Clear understanding of:
- Customer behaviour
- How to target specific audiences across international markets.
- Champion of:
- Testing & continuous improvement
- Generating new suggestions for team development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- eCommerce landscape
- Customer trends across different countries
