Tools Down. Listen Up.

Mechanic? Know your tools?

Come and sell them instead. If you've spent time in a workshop, know the difference between a trolley jack and a transmission jack, and enjoy talking to customers, this could be the career move you've been looking for.

At JHM BUTT, we sell garage equipment, workshop tools and servicing equipment to garages across the UK. We're looking for someone with genuine trade knowledge who wants to move into ecommerce sales. Don't worry if you've never used eBay or Amazon before, we'll teach you the platforms. What we can't teach is real-world workshop experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Selling garage equipment and workshop tools amongst other items through eBay, Amazon and other online marketplaces.
  • Advising customers using your practical product knowledge.
  • Creating and improving product listings.
  • Identifying new products and sales opportunities.
  • Working with our purchasing team to introduce new product ranges.
  • Monitoring competitors and spotting opportunities to grow sales.
  • Helping develop our Amazon Brand Store and A+ Content.
  • Using sales data to improve performance and increase revenue.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
